this guy from the first nine minutes wants to save his sick daughter’s life and benedict’s villain is probably going to make a deal with him about it
and from him dropping his starfleet ring(?) in a drink he presumably accepted a deal that would majorly betray starfleet then….
then there’s benedict’s vilain being in what I still contend to be an airlock
because docking/locking mechanisms?
and the small window
and warning lights
on what is presumably a door
so we know that his vilain was captured and given starfleet issued clothing and locked in what is either the brig of an airlock (which might have the same sort of theory behind it as the hulk’s cage in avengers)
did he want to be captured like this?
is he planing to send a message of fear by taking out one of the federation’s most important ships while captured and in enemy territory, challenge what everyone considers to be safe?
AND THAT’S MY THEORY
SO I've been listening to a lot of Cabin Pressure lately
for those not in the cabin crew: Cabin Pressure is a BBC radio comedy written by John Finnemore about a airline so small it's more of an air-dot. Benedict Cumberbatch is the captain, Roger Allam is the first officer, Stephanie Cole is the CEO and John Finnemore is the steward.
if you're interested in a listen there are youtube uploads but the point of this post is I DONE DID FANART!
